 The district has one regional middle-high school located mid-district on a 109-acre campus in Barre. Our middle school, which houses grades 6, 7 & 8, has an average enrollment of 550 students and the high school, grades 9-12, averages 575 students. The middle-high school is guided by a principal, three assistant principals, administrative support staff, employs a school nurse and has full custodial, maintenance and food service staff. The district proudly notes that 99.5% of our teachers are highly qualified in their core academic classes with an average 15:1 student/teacher ratio.

The 250,000 sq. foot middle/high school is located on 109 acres in rural Massachusetts with carefully groomed athletic fields with Alumni Field under lights for evening competition, an outdoor track at the middle/high school and a well maintained environmental science research area which includes a pond, a greenhouse, an observatory, and many areas for outdoor ecological study.

The Quabbin Regional High School has earned NEASC accreditation.

Each of the member towns has its own elementary school: Ruggles Lane Elementary School in Barre enrolls about 385 students, Hardwick Elementary School in Hardwick’s Gilbertville Village educates approximately 200 students, Hubbardston Center School has an enrollment of approximately 350 young learners, Oakham Center School has over 175 students, and New Braintree Grade School currently educates approximately 45 students.
